Bradesco reported earnings results for the fourth quarter ended December 2014. The company reported fourth quarter adjusted net income of BRL 4.132 billion, up 29.7% year-on-year. The company delivered ROAE of 20.1%, up from 18.0% in the same quarter of 2013.

Net interest income rose 15.3% in the period to BRL 12.986 billion, while fee and commission income was up 11.7% to BRL 5.839 billion. Insurance written premiums, pension plan contributions and capitalization bond income in the fourth quarter alone totaled BRL 17.806 billion, up 22.9%, due to good financial income and premium income, as well as solid underwriting margins.
