Arcland Sakamoto Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings result for the year ended February 20, 2018. For the year, the company reported net sales of JPY 103,031 million compared to JPY 105,232 million a year ago. Operating profit of JPY 8,842 million compared to JPY 9,393 million a year ago. Profit before tax was JPY 9,223 million compared to JPY 9,719 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 5,009 million compared to JPY 5,408 million a year ago. Cash flow from operating activity was JPY 8,546 million compared to JPY 9,549 million a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was JPY 2,362 million compared to JPY 4,101 million a year ago. Purchase of intangible assets was JPY 45 million compared to JPY 35 million a year ago. Earnings per shares was JPY 133.36 per share compared to JPY 123.52 per share a year ago.
The company also provided earnings guidance for the year ending February 20, 2019. For the year, the company expects net sales of JPY 54,500 million compared to JPY 107,000 million a year ago. Operating profit of JPY 5,300 million compared to JPY 107,000 million a year ago. Profit before tax of JPY 3,000 million compared to JPY 5,500 million a year ago. Earnings per share of JPY 73.97 per share compared to JPY 135.61 per share a year ago.
