Alamos Gold, Inc. reported production results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2015. For the quarter, the company reported total gold production of 104,734 ounces of gold, including 44,694 ounces from Young-Davidson, 41,830 ounces from Mulatos and 18,210 ounces from El Chanate compared with total gold production of 99,083 ounces of gold, including 40,945 ounces from Young-Davidson, 42,500 ounces from Mulatos and 15,638 ounces from El Chanate for the same period last year.
For the full year, the company reported total gold production of 380,000 ounces of gold, including 160,358 ounces from Young-Davidson, 140,330 ounces from Mulatos and 79,312 ounces from El Chanate compared with total gold production of 364,532 ounces of gold, including 156,753 ounces from Young-Davidson, 140,500 ounces from Mulatos and 67,279 ounces from El Chanate for the same period last year. Young-Davidson produced increase reflected higher underground mining rates and recoveries.

For 2016, the company expects production guidance of 370,000 to 400,000 ounces of gold, an increase over 2015 with production growth from both Young-Davidson and Mulatos. Global capital budget of $138-158 million in 2016, representing a 20% decrease from the mid-point of 2015 guidance. Total capital spending for the company's operating assets is also expected to decrease to between $111 and $131 million, down 19% from the mid-point of 2015 guidance.
