AgStar PLC is a Sri Lanka-based company that is engaged in the business of importing, blending, and marketing of fertilizer products and agricultural machineries. Its segments include Trading and Processing. The Trading segment includes items that are directly imported and sold without further processing. The Processing segment includes items that are further processed before being sold. Its products include Seeds, Fertilizer, CropCare, Pharma and Agricultural technology (Agri Tech). The Company exports Ceylon tea, cinnamon, coconut, and tropical fruits. It produces and markets paddy seeds, other field crops and vegetable seeds. Its organic fertilizers include Organic Compost, Fertilizer Compost, and Bio Compost. Its crop-based fertilizers include tea fertilizer and fruit fertilizer mixtures. Its CropCare products include Allwin top, Netcote, and Micro-Paddy. The Company has partnered with four brands that provide solutions to animal nutrition: NOREL, Lallemand, Perstorp, and Kerry.
