JSC Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport today received the Airport Certificate from the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia.
The certificate was received on behalf of JSC Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport by acting Director General, Sasa Vlaisavljevic, and on that occasion he pointed out:
'Management and all employees are determined to continue to follow and apply world trends in line with clearly defined aviation standards.
I am particularly pleased that cooperation with the Civil Aviation Directorate is at the highest professional level and we have a regulatory body that monitors all our innovations and projects by supporting the Belgrade airport on the road to achieving our goal - becoming the most important transit point in this part of Europe.

By obtaining the certificate JSC Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport proved compliance with the strictest European organizational and operational requirements, and that air traffic safety is the highest priority at any time.
JSC Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport in operational sense has confirmed the fulfillment of the certification requirements of the European Agency for the Safety of Air Transport, and thus found itself among 20% of Europe's airports, who proved that they have adequate resources for the operation of the airport in accordance with the applicable requirements.
Work on the certification of JSC Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport started a few months ago, and with good cooperation with the Civil Aviation Directorate and great joint efforts, the certification process was successfully completed.
