During the weekend of January 27th, ABN AMRO has dealt with a number of DDoS attacks.

During a DDoS attack an internet site is being flooded with large volumes of data requests, causing the server overload.

De last attack has been countered and services like Mobile Banking, iDEAL and Internet Banking are available for clients. As usual the bank continues to monitor the availability of all systems and with additional attention after the attacks of this weekend. ABN AMRO apologies for all inconvenience caused.

Security of the payment infrastructure and client data has never been compromised in any form.
