Mohammed Abdul Karim

Mohammed Abdul Karim is currently the Chairman & President of Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation.
He is also an Independent Director at Eastland Insurance Co. Ltd.
Additionally, he holds the position of Managing Director at Underprivileged Childrens Educational Program and Palli Karma-Shahayak Foundation.
Mr. Karim is a Member of Dhaka Club Ltd., Kurmitola Golf Club, Bangladesh Chemical Society, Rotary Club of Dhaka Buriganga, Asian University For Women, and the President of Bangladesh Deaf Sports Federation.
In his former positions, Mr. Karim served as the Chairman-National Board Revenue at Bangladesh Petroleum Corp.
He was also the Chairman of IPDC Finance Ltd.
from 2020 to 2021.
Additionally, he held the position of Chairman at Eastern Refinery Ltd.
(Bangladesh).
Mr. Karim has experience as an Independent Director at Green Delta Insurance Co. Ltd., United Commercial Bank Plc, and Union Capital Ltd.
He has also served as a Secretary in various ministries of the Government of Bangladesh.
Furthermore, Mr. Karim was the President of Bangladesh Scouts and a Member of The British Council and BCS Administrative Service Association.
Mr. Karim completed his graduate degree from the University of Birmingham in 1987.
He also holds a graduate degree from Chittagong University, which he obtained in 1974.
