Additionally, he held the position of Head-Economics & Statistics Division at the Rubber Research Institute of Malaysia.
Dr. bin Sepien obtained a graduate degree from Australian National University in 1975 and a doctorate degree from the same university in 1980.
He also holds an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University, which he received in 1971.
