Yao Sheng Electronic Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 243.832 million compared to TWD 218.912 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 3.012 million compared to TWD 13.117 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 10.004 million compared to TWD 12.829 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.23 compared to TWD 0.29 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 440.093 million compared to TWD 358.224 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 5.007 million compared to operating Income of TWD 3.632 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 9.956 million compared to TWD 5.056 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.23 compared to TWD 0.12 a year ago.
Yao Sheng Electronic Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in manufacture and distribution of transformers and inductance coils. The Company provides transformers and inductance coils, which are applied in liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors, power supply units, notebook computers, mobile phones, digital cameras, personal digital assistants (PDAs), televisions and other devices. In addition, it also provides light emitting diode (LED) lighting products. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets.
