Yao Sheng Electronic Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 218.912 million compared to TWD 221.907 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 13.117 million compared to TWD 4.112 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 12.829 million compared to TWD 13.379 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.29 compared to TWD 0.31 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 358.224 million compared to TWD 418.306 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 3.632 million compared to operating loss of TWD 4.893 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 5.056 million compared to TWD 402,000 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.12 compared to TWD 0.01 a year ago.
Yao Sheng Electronic Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in manufacture and distribution of transformers and inductance coils. The Company provides transformers and inductance coils, which are applied in liquid crystal display (LCD) monitors, power supply units, notebook computers, mobile phones, digital cameras, personal digital assistants (PDAs), televisions and other devices. In addition, it also provides light emitting diode (LED) lighting products. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets.
