Yao I Fabric Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 402.299 million compared to TWD 501.973 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 28.925 million compared to operating Income of TWD 28.218 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 1.781 million compared to net income of TWD 23.175 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.03 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.41 a year ago.
Yao I Fabric CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sales of line products. The Companyâs primary products include fishing lines, trimmer lines, nylon lines, industrial lines, battledore lines and tennis racket lines. The Company is also engaged in the provision of elastic bands and non-woven fabrics. The Company's finishing lines are primarily used for freshwater fishing, sea fishing, stream fishing, river fishing and rock fishing. Its industrial lines are applied in lawnmowers and fasten tapes. The Company mainly distributes its products in Asia, the Americas and Europe.
