The Norwegian non-socialist party Fremskrittspartiet has received NOK 100 000 from the board of Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA.

-  There are no conditions linked to the support. However, believing that a non-socialist collaboration forms the best basis for running a profitable business in Norway, we would like strengthen their ability to implement their party programmes, says chair Diderik Schnitler.

Commenting on why Fremskrittspartiet receives funding and not Høyre, Mr Schnitler comments: "In January 2013, the non-socialist party Høyre received NOK 500 000, which was given for a two year period (2013-2014), while Fremskrittspartiet received NOK 100 000 for a one year period (2013)."
