Wendell Industrial Co., Ltd reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 423.48 million compared to TWD 473.08 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 20.57 million compared to TWD 49.4 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.82 compared to TWD 1.97 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.76 compared to TWD 1.93 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 857.3 million compared to TWD 950.89 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 45.31 million compared to TWD 97.83 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.8 compared to TWD 3.9 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.64 compared to TWD 3.86 a year ago.
WENDELL INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the sale of electronic components, and the provision of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and safety certification services. The Company is engaged in the provision of line protection products such as instantaneous suppression diodes, electrostatic protectors, semiconductor discharge tubes, resettable fuses and network transformers, as well as electromagnetic interference suppression products and modular integrated overvoltage protection products. The Company is also engaged in the provision of EMC verification, wireless radio frequency verification, safety certification and other verification services. The Company operates within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including China, South Korea, Singapore, Japan and others.
