Watts Co., Ltd. (TSE:2735) signed an agreement to acquire Real Ltd. from an undisclosed individual shareholder on March 1, 2018. Under the terms of the transaction, Watts Co., Ltd. will acquire 1,000 shares of Real Ltd. Upon completion, Real Ltd. will operate as subsidiary of Watts Co., Ltd. For the year ended September 2017, Real Ltd. reported sales of ¥2.5 billion. The transaction was resolved by the Board of Directors of Watts Co., Ltd. on March 1, 2018. The transaction is expected to close on April 2, 2018.
