Wasgau Produktions & Handels AG is a Germany-based company engaged in the production and distribution of consumer goods, as well as trade in capital goods. The Company operates in two segments: Retail and Wholesale. The Retail segment includes the production and sale of food and related products. The Wholesale segment is engaged in the operation of cash and carry wholesale markets, as well as direct deliveries to individual and retail customers. The Company operates approximately ten hypermarkets and more than 80 supermarkets in Germany. Its group companies include, among others, WASGAU Einzelhandels GmbH, WASGAU Metzgerei GmbH, WASGAU Frischwaren GmbH, WASGAU Bakery, WASGAU Butcher, WASGAU Natur Organic and WASGAU wine cellar.
