Volvere plc is a United Kingdom-based industrial holding company. The Company invests in or acquires companies which require growth capital. The Company also acquires any company that is complementary to its existing portfolio, or which is in a sector in which it has specialist knowledge. The Companyâ€™s food manufacturing segment is engaged in the production and sale of food products to third party customers. Its portfolios include NMT Group and Shire Foods. NMT Group is a medical devices company that developed a safety syringe to prevent needlestick injury. Shire Foods is a manufacturer of frozen pies, pasties and sausage rolls. Shire Foods customers include retailers, food service companies and independent wholesalers.
