27.05.2024:The strike by employees in St-Prex has been lifted for the time being. After the workforce went on strike last Friday, glass production was re-started on Monday. Today, the strike in the warehouse and distribution at the site has also been suspended until further notice. Vetropack can therefore currently deliver goods from St-Prex again.
"We are relieved about the end of the strike," states CEO Johann Reiter. "We now call on employee representatives and trade unions to bring the talks with us to a constructive conclusion so that we can soon present the social plan that applies to all employees."
