Rio de Janeiro, January 19, 2012 - Vale S.A. (Vale) will release its 4Q11 results on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, after markets closing. Due to the different time zones, for Hong Kong 4Q11 results will be released on Thursday, February 16, before markets opening.
Vale will release simultaneously consolidated financial statements in US GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles in the United States) and BR GAAP/IFRS (generally accepted accounting principles in Brazil).
Vale will host two conference calls and webcasts on Thursday, February 16. The first, in Portuguese (non-translated), will begin at 10:00 a.m. Rio de Janeiro time. The second, in English, at 12:00 p.m. Rio de Janeiro time, 9:00 a.m. US Eastern Standard Time, 2:00 p.m. British Standard Time, and 10:00 p.m. Hong Kong time.
