Press release Toyota Industries discloses the preliminary interim result of its public tender offer Uster, Switzerland - 16 April 2012 - As of today, Toyota Industries Corporation, Kariya-shi, Japan ("Toyota") has disclosed the preliminary interim result of its public tender offer for all publicly held registered shares of Uster Technologies Ltd ("Uster").

Until completion of the offer period at 13 April 2012, 04.00 pm, 3,875,296 registered shares in Uster were tendered to Toyota, representing 92.2% of all registered shares in Uster, to which the offer relates to. The aggregate position of Toyota as at 13 April 2012 (close of SIX Swiss Exchange), amounted to a total of
8,133,673 Uster Shares, corresponding to 96.1% of all issued Uster Shares.
In the publication of the final interim result, which is expected to be published by Toyota in Neue Zurcher Zeitung and Le Temps on 19 April 2012, Toyota will inform about the acceptance of its voluntary public tender offer.
