Unum : Will Major is Unum UK’s New Chief Change Officer

LONDON (January 4, 2022) - Unum UK appoints Will Major as its Chief Change Officer, as the benefits provider strengthens its leadership team in line with its ambitious growth plans.
In the newly created position, Major's remit will be to deliver sustainable and long-term growth by partnering with brokers to reinforce Unum UK's market position as a high quality, specialist provider of key employee benefits and wellbeing solutions."Majorhas extensive experience transforming businesses and managing large scale digital enhancements," said Mark Till, CEO, Unum UK. "His appointment comes at a time when employee benefits are higher on the agenda at UK workplaces than ever before."
Major has a track record of delivering strategic business change. He joins Unum UK from Prudential PLC where he was Chief Transformation Officer (Africa). He also led the implementation of 'Pulse by Prudential' - a digital health, wealth, and SME ecosystem - across eight markets in the region.
Unum UK also plans to increase its investment in growth driven initiatives across core markets as the pandemic continues to shine a spotlight on the importance and value of high-quality employee benefits.
