Horikiriteien Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire AOYAMA ZOEN Co., Ltd. from UNIVERSAL ENGEISHA Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ:6061) for ¥18.7 million on May 18, 2017. Under the terms, 210 shares, representing 100% stake in AOYAMA ZOEN Co., Ltd. will be acquired. For the year ended May 2016, AOYAMA ZOEN Co., Ltd. had total assets of ¥62.45 million, net assets of ¥55.78 million, sales of ¥38.88 million, operating loss of ¥0.67 million and net loss of ¥1.15 million. The business transfer agreement is expected on May 18, 2017 and the transaction is expected to close on May 18, 2017.
