A Russian court has ordered the seizure of assets, accounts, property and securities of UniCredit subsidiaries as part of a lawsuit involving the bank.

This is according to court documents.

The ruling issued by a St. Petersburg court concerns 462.7 million euros in securities, property and accounts belonging to UniCredit, as well as 100 percent of the shares of UniCredit Leasing and UniCredit Garant.

No comment so far from UniCredit.

UniCredit was one of the guarantor banks under a contract to build a gas processing plant together with Germany's Linde, which was terminated due to sanctions imposed by the West.
