MR WALTER ODONGO OGWAL

Mr Walter Odongo Ogwal is a finance professional and impact investor with senior management and executive level experience in private equity and background in commercial banking.

In his earlier career, Walter worked with international and local banks notably Standard Chartered, DFCU and Bank of Baroda. He later entered the Private Equity space where he grew in an investment and leadership role, with GROFIN, gaining executive management experience in East Africa and impact investment decisions across Africa and the Middle East. He currently serves on various boards (of regulated entities) across the banking, finance and education sectors and was previously on the board of the Private Sector Foundation of Uganda (PSFU). He has been a consultant on various initiatives where his expertise has been leveraged in areas of finance, corporate management, and private sector development.

Walter holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance), CIMA Dip. MA. (CIMA, UK) and is an Accredited Business Consultant™ (ASMEC) by The Association of Accredited Small Business Consultants® (AASBC®), Austin, Texas (USA).
