Sustainable Procurement Policy

1. TOUAX's commitments

The TOUAX Group aims to be exemplary in the way it conducts its business and pays particular attention to respect human and social rights, environmental protection and best governance practices. TOUAX has signed the United Nations Global Compact, an initiative whose ten founding principles cover human rights, international labour standards, the environment, and the fight against corruption. By signing up to this sustainable development initiative, the Group aims to encourage collaboration with suppliers who are committed to the Group and share its values.

TOUAX has set goals for operational excellence, competitiveness and respect for its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) commitments. Our Sustainable Procurement policy aims to favour suppliers who can help us achieve our objectives and who are committed to working with us over the long term.

TOUAX is committed to developing a constructive dialogue with its suppliers based on trust, respect and transparency.

As part of our overall sustainable procurement approach to sustainable transport, we are committed to:

  • Strengthen the deployment, monitoring and ongoing assessment (key indicators) of our sustainable procurement policy across all the Group's activities;
  • Promote CSR among all our suppliers and ensure strong support from them;
  • Reaffirm our ambition to become carbon neutral in the long term. Sustainable procurement has a key role to play in supporting this objective throughout the supply chain of the Group's activities, in particular by :
  1. supporting our suppliers in decarbonising the goods and services that the Group purchases;
  1. helping to reduce the Group's carbon emissions;
  1. minimising negative impacts on the environment and encouraging sustainable practices;

o contributing to the development of innovative low-carbon solutions for our customers.

  • Implement standard CSR clauses in all our supplier contracts;
  • Carry out internal or external audits to ensure compliance with good CSR practices in the field;
  • Regularly train our buyers in the best practices of sustainable development and sustainable procurement.

2. TOUAX's expectations from its suppliers

In its Supplier Code of Conduct available on our website www.touax.comthe Group sets out its expectations from its suppliers as part of its sustainable procurement approach.

In particular, the Group asks its suppliers to:

  • Comply with laws, and international rules and sanctions as well;
  • Respect human rights and fundamental freedoms;
  • Protect the environment and reduce the impact on the climate;
  • Guarantee the conformity and safety of the services provided;
  • Act with ethics, integrity and compliance in the conduct of business ;
  • Adhere to the Group's Sustainable Procurement policy and Supplier Code of conduct.

3. Scope and governance of our sustainable procurement policy

This sustainable procurement policy applies to all TOUAX Group companies. It also applies to all our suppliers, their parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates, employees, subcontractors and suppliers.

This policy will be reviewed annually and amended if necessary.

Raphael Walewski, Managing Partner, is responsible for implementing and monitoring this policy.

We are committed to a sustainable procurement policy and determined to promote our CSR approach throughout our supply chain to contribute to more sustainable transport for our customers.
