Our Under-18s are back in FA Youth Cup action at Cardiff City tonight.

It's a fourth round tie at the new Cardiff City Stadium, kick-off 7pm, and will be decided on the night by extra time and penalties if required.

The winners will travel to either Leicester City or Charlton in round five.

The team has already beaten the Bluebirds home and away in the Premier Academy League but as coach Alex Inglethorpe explains, the FA Youth Cup is a 'different animal'.

"We would back ourselves against anyone," said Alex. "But the FA Youth Cup is different. There are a lot of nerves involved and quite often it's the team that copes with the nerves and the pressure that gets through.

"I trust these players and I like the intentions of the First Years. They are progressing well and the experience they will gain from the FA Youth Cup is a huge benefit.

"There's the travel side to it this time, staying away, playing in a new stadium, the nerves that go with it and the pressure of the match.

"The likes of Tom Carroll, Andros Townsend, Jake Livermore and Steven Caulker have all been through it in recent seasons and that added layers to their development as players.

"We've played Cardiff twice and done well against them but as I said, this is different, a one-off."

We'll have news from Cardiff later tonight...
