Torque Metals Limited has announced that Non-Executive Director, Andrew Woskett, has been named Chairman. Mr. Woskett is a highly respected senior executive with over 40 years of project and corporate experience in the resources industry. Andrew has a wealth of experience in bringing assets to development, having been responsible for evaluation, definition, promotion, financing and management of multiple resource projects.

Prior to joining Torque, he was Managing Director of Demetallica Ltd. (DRM) where he oversaw discovery and resource definition of the Jericho copper-gold deposit, leading to Demetallica's all-scrip takeover in late 2022 by AIC Mines Ltd. (A1M). Immediately prior to this role, Mr. Woskett was Managing Director of Minotaur Exploration MEP) which was acquired by off-market takeover by Andromeda Metals Ltd. (ADN). He is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and has an engineering degree and Master's degree in Commercial Law.

Mr. Woskett has an extensive skill set in developing projects in Western Australia as well as a track record of leading corporate teams and managing public companies. Managing Director Cristian Moreno said Mr. Woskett brings significant skills and experience to leading the Board at this crucial time with the New Dawn/Penzance transaction nearing closure and the Paris Gold Project advancing strongly. Current Chairman Pat Burke has resigned to pursue other interests.

Mr. Moreno acknowledged the significant role Mr. Burke played initially through the IPO process, then Torque's exploration success at Paris and, most crucially, in securing the New Dawn/Penance opportunity.
