The Willbes & CO., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 53,767.49 million compared to KRW 56,499.54 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 2,975.99 million compared to KRW 5,086.5 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 45 compared to KRW 77 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 45 compared to KRW 54 a year ago. Basic loss per share was KRW 45 compared to KRW 77 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was KRW 398.94 million compared to KRW 375.04 million a year ago. Net loss was KRW 12,572.58 million compared to KRW 4,805.88 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 191 compared to KRW 73 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was KRW 191 compared to KRW 102 a year ago. Basic loss per share was KRW 191 compared to KRW 73 a year ago.
THE WILLBES & CO., LTD. is a Korea-based original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of textiles. The Company operates in two business divisions: fiber division and education division. Its fiber division provides knits, sweaters, woven products, microfibers and others, through its oversea subsidiaries. Its education division provides education services to various individuals, such as lawyers, diplomats, government officials, appraisers, labor attorneys and others. The Company mainly supplies its textile products to TARGET, OLD NAVY and WAL MART. On May 31, 2013, the Company acquired 100% shares of a Korea-based company, which is mainly engaged in the educational institute operations.
