On January 25, 2023, The First Bancshares, Inc. issued a press release announcing its results of operations for the fourth quarter of 2022. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein.

On January 26, 2023, The First Bancshares, Inc. will host a conference call for analysts and investors to discuss the Company's financial results at 9:30 a.m. Central Time.

On January 25, 2023, The First Bancshares, Inc. announced the declaration of a $0.21 per share quarterly cash dividend. The dividend is payable on February 24, 2023 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on February 8, 2023.
