Tariq Corporation Limited is a Pakistan-based company. The Company is principally engaged in the business of production and sale of sugar and its by-products. The Company operates in a single operating segment, being sugar segment. Its products include Refined Sugar, Molasses, Bio Fertilizer and Bagasse. Refined sugar is of two types: Ultra Refined Sugar and Refined Sugar (Bold Grade). Its flagship retail brand is Krystal. Krystal Sugar is available in stores across Lahore and Faisalabad. Molasses is a by-product of sugar, which is sold to distilleries that manufacture ethanol or is exported to buyers internationally. Bio-fertilizer is made from another by-product of sugar, namely, press mud or filter cake. Bagasse, which is the fiber residue of sugarcane post the extraction of sucrose juice in the milling stage, is an product that can serve as a clean fuel to produce energy or as raw material in the Paper Manufacturing. The Companyâs subsidiary is Tariq Capital (Pvt.) Limited.
