Taiwan Taffeta Fabric Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 367.005 million compared to TWD 392.303 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 10.071 million compared to TWD 1.449 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 5.808 million compared to net income of TWD 433,000 a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.05.

The businesses of the Company include the manufacture, sales and trading of finished polyester fabrics, the manufacture, sales and trading of polyester gray fabrics, the trading of yarn materials, the provision of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) services, as well as the development, leasing and sales of residential properties. The Company operates through four segments, including cotton mill segment, fabric mill segment, construction segment and accessories and garments segment. The Company operates businesses in domestic market and other markets, such as Asia, Europe, America and Africa.
