Super Group announced the following changes to the board of directors: Mariam Cassim, a Non-executive Board member since 1 July 2015, has notified the Board of her resignation, with effect from 30 November 2020, due to increased executive commitments. The Board thanks Mariam for her contribution during her tenure on the Board and wishes her well in respect of her new position at Vodacom. Super Group announced the appointment of Pitsi Mnisi and Simphiwe Mehlomakulu, both as Independent Non-executive Directors, with effect from 1 October 2020. Pitsi Mnisi is the founder and director of a wholly black owned and managed consulting and corporate finance advisory company, Lynshpin Cedar, as well as a co-founder and a director of an investment holding business, Mcorp Investments. She has extensive experience in corporate governance matters having served on a number of boards and chaired a number of Finance and Audit Committees. Simphiwe Mehlomakulu is an entrepreneur and in September 2003, he, together with his co-founders, formed the Reatile Group to invest in the Petroleum and Energy sectors of the Southern African economy. He was appointed Executive Chairman and has grown Reatile Group to a net asset value in excess of R3 billion over a 17-year period.
