Sun Yad Construction Co.,Ltd reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 824.12 million compared to TWD 242.5 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 66.82 million compared to net loss of TWD 11.95 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.3252 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.0759 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.3035.
For the six months, sales was TWD 1,174.97 million compared to TWD 460.11 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 60.66 million compared to net loss of TWD 44.99 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.3035 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.2927 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.2819.
Sun Yad Construction Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the investment, development and construction of real estate, as well as the manufacture and sale of resin and polyurethane (PU) synthetic leather. The real estate development and construction business is mainly engaged in the investment, development and trading of land, as well as the construction investment, design and trading of real estate. The main products of synthetic resins business include PU synthetic resin, PU adhesives, nylon resin and polyester polyols, among others. These products are mainly used for the manufacture of the PU synthetic leather and artificial leather for footwear, leather bags and clothes, as well as the manufacture of the waterproof nylon, such as raincoats, suitcases and tents. The PU synthetic leather business is mainly engaged in the manufacture and trading of plastic leather. The Company mainly distributes products in Taiwan as well as other parts of Asia.
