FiNC inc. announced that it has received ¥2,000 million in its series C round on January 13, 2017. The round included participation from existing investor Dai-ichi Life Holdings, Inc. (TSE:8750) and new investor Mirai Creation Fund, a fund managed by existing investor SPARX Group Co., Ltd (JASDAQ:8739). Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (TSE:4527), Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company, Kagome Co., Ltd. (TSE:2811), and other individual investors also participated in the transaction.
SPARX Group Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based holding company mainly engaged in the asset management business. The Company is engaged in the asset management business for clients, including corporate pension annuities, government entities, private and trust banks and public pension funds; the provision of investment advisory services; the operation of mutual fund business, which includes the provision of various mutual funds to financial institutions and individual investors directly or through brokerage houses, banks and other intermediaries in Japan, Europe and the United States, as well as the securities business, including the provision of advisory services for investors.
