HERZILIYA PITUACH, Israel (AP) — HERZILIYA PITUACH, Israel (AP) — SolarEdge Technologies Inc. (SEDG) on Tuesday reported a loss of $162.4 million in its fourth quarter.

The Herziliya Pituach, Israel-based company said it had a loss of $2.85 per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, were 92 cents per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 12 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of $1.47 per share.

The photovoltaic products maker posted revenue of $316 million in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Ten analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $320 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $34.3 million, or 60 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $2.98 billion.

For the current quarter ending in March, SolarEdge said it expects revenue in the range of $175 million to $215 million.
