Sodexo has announced sales of 6.3 billion euros for the first quarter of its 2023 fiscal year, up 20.2% year-on-year, with a perimeter effect of -1.2%, a currency effect of +9.2% and organic growth of +12.3%.

On-site services continue to benefit from the post-Covid recovery, with attendance up across all geographies at workplaces, stadiums, convention centers and universities", says Sophie Bellon.

The acceleration of organic growth in Benefits & Rewards continues, reflecting in particular this quarter the rise in interest rates in the euro zone and a major one-off contract in Austria, the Klimabonus", adds the CEO of the services group.

Sodexo is maintaining its objectives for fiscal 2023, i.e. organic growth of between +8 and +10%, driven in particular by the impact of inflation of 4 to 5%, and an operating margin close to 5.5% at constant rates.
