Skanska AB has invested EUR 23 million (SEK 209 million) in the Phase I of Maraton office project in Poznan, Poland. The building, which is Skanska's second office project in Poznan, will consist of six stories above ground and two underground parking levels. The leasable space for the first phase of the project will be about 13,000 square meters.

The new complex will be LEED Gold certified, and meet the highest environmental standards, featuring a number of sustainable solutions. This will minimize the building's operational costs and bring savings for future tenants as well as create comfortable office space for employees. Construction work starts in January 2015 and the project is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2016.
