General Announcement::Re-Designation of Ms Yong Oi Ling from Independent Director to Executive Director of the Company

RE-DESIGNATION OF MS YONG OI LING FROM INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

TO EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE COMPANY

The board of directors (the "Board" or "Directors") of Sim Leisure Group Ltd. (the "Company") wishes to announce the re-designation of Ms Yong Oi Ling ("Ms Yong") as an Independent Director of the Company to an Executive Director of the Company with effect from 10 June 2021 (the "Re-designation").

The details of Ms Yong's Re-designation as required under Rule 704(6) Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited Listing Manual Section B: Rules of Catalist ("Catalist Rules"), are set out in a separate announcement released today.

Following the Re-designation, Ms Yong will step down as Chairperson of the Nominating Committee and a member of the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee of the Company. The Company will seek to identify a suitable candidate for an independent Director of the Company to fill the vacancy in the Board and the respective Board committees within two (2) months, but in any case, no later than three (3) months from 10 June 2021 to comply with, among others, the Companies Act (Chapter 50) of Singapore, the relevant Catalist Rules and the Code of Corporate Governance 2018. The Company will make further announcement in compliance with the requirement of the Catalist Rules as and when appropriate.
