SHOWA Corporation reported consolidated earnings results for the three months period ended June 30, 2019. For the three months, the company reported Net Sales were ¥68,408 million compared to ¥70,845 million a year ago. Net income was ¥6,510 million or ¥71.74 per basic share compared to ¥6,756 million or ¥75.40 per basic share a year ago. Operating income was ¥8,266 million compared to ¥7,906 million a year ago.

The Motorcycle and General Purpose segment provides products include motorcycle shock absorbers, power tilt and trim products for outboard motors and trim cylinders. The Automobile segment provides products include shock absorbers for automobiles, propeller shafts, automatic transmission parts, differential gears and other drive parts. The Steering Systems segment provides products include electric power steering systems, hydraulic power steering systems and continuously variable transmission (CVT) pumps.
