Shima Seiki Manufacturing Ltd. reported consolidated earning results for the nine months ended December 31, 2014. For the period, the company's net sales were JPY 35,030 million compared to JPY 27,211 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 3,598 million compared to JPY 1,243 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 7,623 million compared to JPY 6,583 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 5,108 million or JPY 149.30 per share compared to JPY 4,674 million or JPY 136.60 per share a year ago.
The company provided consolidated earnings guidance for the year ending March 31, 2015.
