Sheng Yu Steel Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 3,726.43 million compared to TWD 3,644.8 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 340.82 million compared to TWD 339.13 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.06 compared to TWD 1.06 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.06 compared to TWD 1.05 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 7,920.98 million compared to TWD 6,852.52 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 592.73 million compared to TWD 615.65 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.85 compared to TWD 1.92 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.84 compared to TWD 1.91 a year ago.
SHENG YU STEEL CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the processing and distribution of steel products. The Company provides galvanized steel coils, such as aluminum-zinc coated steel coils; pre-coated galvanized steel coils, such as coated aluminum-zinc coating steel coils and others, and cold rolled steel coils, which are used in constructions, electric appliances, agriculture tools and other areas. In addition, the Company provides raw material steel coils, pickled steel coils and others.
