January 23, 2015, Davos (Switzerland) - Sberbank held a business breakfast during the International Economic Forum. The topic of the event was "2015: Attracting investments to a geopolitically unstable region".

The event's moderator was CEO and Chairman of the Board of Sberbank Herman Gref. Speakers included First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Igor Shuvalov, Chairman of the Management Board of Eurasian Development Bank Igor Finogenov, Dean of St. Petersburg State University's Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences Aleksei Kudrin, Professor of Public Policy at Harvard University Kenneth Rogoff, Chairman of JPMorgan Chase International Jacob Frenkel, Managing Director of McKinsey&Company Dominic Barton, Professor of International Political Economy and Director of the Global Economic Governance Programme at Oxford Ngaire Woods, and Founder of Bridgewater Associates Ray Dalio.

Participants took part in interactive voting before discussions began. They were asked to select from several different answers to the question "What needs to be done to overcome the economic crisis in Russia?" More than 55% of participants selected "Resolution of the geopolitical conflict", while a third chose "Public administration reform".

Another interactive vote was dedicated to the national idea of economic development of Russia. The majority of participants selected "Diversification through the development of a competitive economy".
