The leap is testament to the firm's dedication to improving lesbian, gay, bi and trans (LGBT) inclusion in the work place.

The index is a definitive list of the best employers for LGBT staff. Participants are ranked based on 10 key areas of employment policy and practice, from training to community engagement. Upon receiving their score organisations are able to better understand what's going well and also where they need to focus their efforts moving forward.

Anthony Griffiths, director in the valuation team and head of the Savills LGBTQ Group, comments: 'Savills latest ranking is a fantastic achievement for the business proving that the firm is making real headway when it comes to diversity and inclusion. The LGBTQ group continues to grow and we aim to climb the list even further over the next two years.'

Richard Rees, managing director of Savills UK, adds: 'As a business we are absolutely delighted at the progress Savills has made since debuting on the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index in 2017. Our aim is to create an inclusive environment to ensure that all staff feel able to be themselves whilst in the workplace and this latest ranking proves that we are well on the way to achieving this.'
