International real estate advisor Savills has sold Stanneylands Hotel in Wilmslow to Mere Boutique Limited from a guide price of £4.85 million. The sale was completed on behalf of Ryan Grant, Lee Causer and Catherine Williamson of AlixPartners Services UK LLP (AlixPartners), the joint administrators of Prima Hotels Limited.

The 4-star country house hotel, which offers 55 bedrooms and suites, is bordered by mature woodland and open fields. It also features a 2-AA Rosette restaurant, bar and conference or events space for up to 120 guests.

Tom Cunningham, hotels director at Savills, comments: 'This hotel combines a picturesque setting with easy access to Manchester Airport and the motorway network. The new owners are well-placed to benefit from its strong corporate and leisure trade.'

Stanneylands Hotel was part of the Prima portfolio of regional manor house hotels brought to market by Savills in September 2015. The portfolio also included Hellaby Hall Hotel near Rotherham, Nunsmere Hall Hotel in Cheshire and Quorn Country Hotel in Leicestershire.

The purchaser was unrepresented.
