Samhwa Paint Industrial Co.,Ltd (KOSE:A000390) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 700,000 shares for a total of KRW 4,620 million. The purpose of the program is to improve the shareholders’ value and to stabilize the stock prices. The repurchase program is valid until July 10, 2018. As of April 10, 2018, the company had 2,151,200 shares in treasury within scope available for dividend capacity and nil shares in treasury under other capacities.
SAMHWA PAINTS INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the production and sale of paints. Along with subsidiaries, the Company operates its business through four segments. The Paint Segment manufactures and sells architectural, industrial paints. It is also involved in the production and sale of paints for phase change materials (PCMs).
