(Alliance News) - Salcef Group Spa announced Monday that MSCI, a leading international ESG rating provider, has upgraded its rating from 'BBB' to 'A'.

"The upgrade, the second in two years, confirms the company's progress on the path of improving ESG performance, coupled with an increasing focus on disclosure and full integration of sustainability in all the Group's activities," the company explained in a note.

In addition, at the end of the 2022 assessment campaign by Ecovadis, the world's largest provider of corporate sustainability assessments with more than 90,000 companies evaluated, "the 6 Group companies under analysis were awarded 5 platinum medals and 1 gold medal. Each company has, in addition, improved its score since the assessment conducted in 2021, contributing to the achievement of 3 new platinum medals."

Salcef Group trades in the red by 0.4 percent at EUR18.32 per share.
