Leonardo and Safran Helicopter Engines today announced a partnership to enhance the capabilities and competitiveness of the new-generation, single-engine AW09 helicopter.
The production models will be powered by the new-generation Arriel 2K 1000 shp engine.
According to Safran, the choice of this new engine guarantees top-level industrialization and support.

Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: France (19.4%), Europe (24%), the Americas (34.8%), Asia and Oceania (13.2%), Africa and the Middle East (8.6%).
