S Chand and Company Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was INR 652.35 million compared to INR 513.4 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 755.9 million compared to INR 519.61 million a year ago. Net loss was INR 261.62 million compared to INR 451.74 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was INR 8.69 compared to INR 12.77 a year ago. S Chand and Company Limited is engaged in the publishing and trading of educational books. The Company offers a suite of products which offers complete solutions for learners across K-12, higher education, competitive examinations and digital platforms. The Company caters to schools, higher educational institutions, professional colleges, and vocational training institutes. Its K-12 content portfolio is offered to students from ages four through eighteen years and includes instructional resources across hundreds of programs.
