Several senior managers at Rolls-Royce have been told that they could be facing redundancy as part of the firm's plans to save money. Up to 50 managers at the firm, which has its civil aerospace and nuclear divisions in Derby, could go. The company has not provided a breakdown of how many senior managers are likely to be cut at its Derby sites but the city is considered to be one of the company's main management centres in the UK.
