Roctool, a specialist in molds for plastics and composites, reported on Friday a slight loss in Ebitda for its 2022 fiscal year, driven by increased expenses.

The group, whose processes are used by industrial customers, reported this morning a negative Ebitda of 146.00 euros for the past year, compared with a profit of 197,000 euros in 2021.

The company explains this deterioration by the recruitment it has carried out to support its growth, but also by an increase in its promotional expenses.

The group, which posted record annual sales of 9.4 million euros, up 14%, reports that its net income came to -315,000 euros last year, compared with -704,000 euros in 2021.

With regard to its outlook, Roctool - which aims to become the 'must-have' supplier of eco-responsible molding technologies - says it is aiming for a profitable growth trajectory, without giving further details.

Listed on the Paris Bourse, the stock was down 3.5% late Friday morning in the wake of this publication.
