Rexel announces an agreement to acquire Talley, presented as one of the leading distributors of wireless infrastructure products and solutions in the United States, 'strengthening its exposure to the fast-growing trends in data usage'.
Talley supplies mobile network operators, network installers, infrastructure operators and end-users throughout the United States. It has over 300 employees and will generate sales of around $360 million in 2024.
The transaction, the amount of which is not specified, is expected to be accretive to Rexel's EPS from year one, value-creating in year two, and to represent a multiple of around seven times EBITDA after synergies.
The acquisition, which is subject to U.S. antitrust approval and customary closing conditions, is expected to close in June, according to the French electrical supplies distributor.
